Professional Golf Guides of Orlando was founded in 1999 by Phillip Jaffe. A PGA Class A Member since 1996. Phil has played the game for over 28 years and successfully competed on various amateur events in the Greater Chicago Illinois area prior to playing professionally on Tour level events around the country. Phil learned the game from PGA Member Jerry Moody at Glencoe Golf Course in Glencoe, Il. Over the years Phil has developed a unique style for teaching golfers during an 18 hole playing lesson. Phil has 20 years of professional experience in teaching golf, course management, tournament and member services. His magnetic personality combined with his love for the game is the cornerstone of Professional Golf Guides commitment to customer satisfaction.

Jeff Cothran is a PGA Member with over 25 years in the golf industry. A past head golf professional at three of the areas upscale semi private golf clubs, Jeff brings a wealth of experience to our staff. He will be heading up our travel section featuring courses from all walks of golf life with particular interest in the public accessible facility. Jeff also enjoys teaching and specializes in teaching the aging golfer how to “get the most out of what they’ve got.” The travel section will focus on bringing useful current information to John Q Public golfer, whether it be local course suggestions or travel tips from abroad.
